IN THE STUDIO WITH MARTIN HANNETT

This limited edition LP is a collection of songs recorded 1978-79 at Cargo Studios Rochdale, with the approval of producer Martin Hannetts estate. The tracks are from his own mix tapes on quarter inch tape, in which he used to record all the bands session with the approval of the band and Tony Wilson of Factory Records. He would then remix the tracks, experiment adding delay and generally playing around with the bands sound. This extraordinary vinyl is a must for all Joy Division fans and features a special 10 page booklet. Tracks include versions of quot;Atmospherequot;, quot;Dead Soulsquot; and quot;The Eternalquot; plus original samples and sounds played on synthesizers by Martin Hannett.
