The original version of American Poet Live received limited distribution and has been deleted for a number of years making the demand for this reissue high. The material on this remastered DOUBLE-LP was recorded live at Alice Tully Hall, NYC, January 27th, 1973. Included are renditions of classic Velvet Underground tracks s.a. 'I'm Waiting For The Man', 'Heroin', 'Sister Ray', 'Sweet Jane' and 'White Light White Heat'.
