The album opens with a loud spirited rendition of the Chantays' 1962 surf rock instrumental 'Pipeline'. It's followed by one of Thunders' all-time classic tracks 'You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory' that was released as a single and to this day is considered by many to be his signature song. It was later covered by Giant Sand Guns N' Roses as well as Joey Ramone and Ronnie Spector as a duet.
