Ten tracks of straight-ahead techno are on the bill for Where's the Music, with much less personality than on 2000's excellent Gain. Casiotone is bland electro and Afterplan is standard-issue bubbly Detroit techno, while the few highlights (like On a Day) recall latter-day productions by labelmates (and mates) {|Slam|}. The standard-issue sound on Where's the Music is even more surprising considering veteran producer {|Mark Broom|} makes appearances throughout.
