JIMI HENDRIX Live On TV 69 (2024 UK limited edition 4-track 7 EP featuring songs recorded for the Dick Cavett Show. It wasn’t until 1969 that Jimi Hendrix made his debut on American television. The first song he recorded was Hear My Train AComin’ where he was backed by the Bobby Rosengarden Band. Drummer Mitch Mitchell and bassist Billy Cox joined Hendrix at a second transmission along with Juma Sultan on congas when they cut versions of Izabella and Machine Gun.
